Evan McClanahan vs Anthony Sean

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Our Ladys Hall, Dublin,  taking place on 08/07/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Evan McClanahan (1(1) - 0) who hails from Belfast, UK and Anthony Sean(7 - 5(1)) from Dublin, Ireland.  McClanahan weighed in at 112 pounds, while Sean weighed in at 111 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shamus Quirke, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Hobbs, Mike Green and Joshua MacCarthy.  

Round 1: 

McClanahan steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
McClanahan is on target with a firm left hook to Sean's ribs.  
McClanahan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Sean steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
McClanahan hits home with a sharp cross.  
McClanahan lands a right hook to the head, a cross to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
McClanahan advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  McClanahan clinches his opponent.  McClanahan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns McClanahan and breaks the clinch.  It looks like Sean has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
McClanahan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
McClanahan is looking to close the distance.  Sean tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
McClanahan lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  McClanahan holds on to his opponent.  McClanahan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sean throws a right hook, but McClanahan ties up his opponent.  McClanahan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McClanahan forces Sean to retreat into a neutral corner.  McClanahan digs in a sharp left uppercut to Sean's ribs.  
McClanahan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McClanahan is looking to close the distance and slams a nasty right hook into Sean's body.  SEAN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  McClanahan holds on to his opponent.  McClanahan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McClanahan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McClanahan steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
McClanahan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McClanahan crashes a nasty left uppercut to his opponents body.  SEAN IS HURT!  Sean almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sean's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Sean's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

McClanahan connects with a MASSIVE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE SEAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sean is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McClanahan knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  McClanahan lands a cross, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS SEAN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Sean cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is McClanahan!
