Matthew McKay vs Paul Sheridan

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 15/07/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Matthew McKay (6(4) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Paul Sheridan(14 - 10(3) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  McKay weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sheridan weighed in at 139 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ronan Murphy, and the three ringside judges are Rob Nesmith, Carl Lyons and Mark McClellan.

You can sense Sheridan is getting frustrated in there.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into McKay's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends McKay to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Sheridan and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.  
Sheridan throws a left hook, but McKay clinches his opponent.  McKay leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks McKay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
