Aaron MacBeth vs Patrick Hickey

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at St Kevins Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 18/07/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron MacBeth (6 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Belfast, UK and Patrick Hickey(39(19) - 8(8)) from Bangor, UK.  Both MacBeth and Hickey weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Lannon, and the three ringside judges are Brett Lannon, Paul Gallagher and Ian Casey.  

Round 1: 

Hickey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
MacBeth hits home with an overhand left.  
Hickey advances into close range.  Hickey pivots to the left of his opponent.  MacBeth throws a left hook, but Hickey holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hickey pushes his forearm into MacBeth's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hickey to stop fouling.  
MacBeth tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hickey hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hickey closes the distance.  Hickey voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  MacBeth tries to tag Hickey on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Hickey is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Hickey closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
MacBeth pivots from in front of his opponent.  MacBeth throws a right hook, but Hickey ties up his opponent.  Hickey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hickey closes the distance and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.
