Mark Bayard vs Dai McLain

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Ponds Forge Arena, Sheffield,  taking place on 08/08/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Bayard (2 - 1) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Dai McLain(2 - 11(1) - 2) from Liverpool, UK.  Both Bayard and McLain weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dylan MacFarland, and the three ringside judges are Mark Bonnar, Thomas MacGregor and Bob Healey.  

Round 1: 

Bayard gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Bayard hits home with a solid left uppercut.
