Sam Curtin vs Shevon Adjei

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 28/07/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Curtin (20(14) - 0) who hails from Allentown, USA and Shevon Adjei(33(26) - 3(1) - 2) from Takoradi, Ghana.  Both Curtin and Adjei weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Shaikh, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Hai, Patrick Barro and Rob Bonar.  

Round 1: 

Adjei lands a left hook.  
Adjei quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Curtin is looking to close the distance and drives a solid left hook into Adjei's body.  
Curtin is on target with a right uppercut.  
Adjei lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Curtin voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Adjei tries to tag Curtin on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Curtin digs in a right hook to Adjei's body.  
Adjei drives a left hook into Curtin's body.  
Adjei connects with a cross.  
Adjei lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Curtin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Curtin is looking to close the distance.  Adjei drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Adjei attempts to land a right hook, but Curtin sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut to Adjei's body.  
Adjei is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Adjei lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Adjei tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right hook.  ADJEI IS HURT!  
Adjei steps away from his opponent.  Curtin sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Curtin lands a cross followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head, KNOCKING ADJEI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Adjei now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Curtin advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Adjei sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Curtin digs in a right hook to Adjei's ribs.  
Adjei circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Curtin lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Curtin gets on the inside.  Adjei is on target with a right uppercut to Curtin's ribs.  
Adjei drives a right hook into Curtin's ribs.  Adjei wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Curtin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Adjei sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Curtin lands a straight 1 - 2.  Curtin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Curtin advances into close range.  Adjei is on target with a right hook.  Adjei throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Curtin is looking to close the distance.  Adjei is on target with a right uppercut to Curtin's body.  
Curtin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Curtin advances into close range.  Adjei sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Curtin's body.  
Adjei is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  Adjei attempts to land a cross, but Curtin slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Curtin gets on the inside.  Adjei pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.

Curtin steps inside.  Adjei sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Adjei throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE ADJEI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Adjei almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Adjei sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Adjei quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Curtin is on target with a left hook.  
Curtin hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Adjei tries to land a right hook, but Curtin slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Curtin drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Adjei pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Curtin's liver.  
Curtin gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Curtin lands with a solid jab.  
Curtin steps inside.  Adjei connects with a sharp right hook.  Adjei throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a WICKED cross.  ADJEI IS HURT!  
Curtin sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Curtin lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND ADJEI IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Adjei now seems to have his senses back.  
Curtin attempts to land a left hook, but Adjei sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Adjei tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Adjei sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Curtin lands a right uppercut.  
Adjei pivots to the side of his opponent.  Adjei attempts to land a left uppercut, but Curtin dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Adjei pivots to the right of his opponent.  Adjei throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a powerful right uppercut.  ADJEI IS HURT!  
Curtin is looking to close the distance.  Curtin senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Curtin lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ADJEI TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Curtin!
