Beau Batton vs John Breckon

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 05/08/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Beau Batton (25(19) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and John Breckon(13(2) - 9(7)) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Batton and Breckon weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Patillo, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Destin Dauphin and Valentin Ogier.  

Round 1: 

Breckon steps inside.  Batton lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Breckon pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
