Jacob Matiku vs Okal Ekhalie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 28/07/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Matiku (3 - 3 - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Okal Ekhalie(14 - 9 - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Matiku weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces, while Ekhalie weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nwa Lugano, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Magwanga, Joey Keino and Dembe Mutunga.

Matiku tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Ekhalie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
