Juan Mariscal vs Juan Cepeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Montel Rolon Gym, Managua,  taking place on 01/08/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Mariscal (7 - 13 - 2) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Juan Cepeda(18 - 11 - 5) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Mariscal weighed in at 126 pounds, while Cepeda weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Zorrilla, and the three ringside judges are Juan Vilches, Salvador Oyola and Alejandro Londono.  

Round 1: 

Mariscal steps away from his opponent.  Cepeda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mariscal finds the target with a jab.  
Cepeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Cepeda digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mariscal steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Mariscal lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cepeda closes the distance.  Cepeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cepeda wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mariscal dabs at his face checking for damage.
