Rodrigo Avalos vs Zenon Gutierres

Boxing Daily Report from the Kirya Promotions promoted show at Ciudad Guayana Poma, Ciudad Guayana,  taking place on 07/08/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Bolivar Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Avalos (9(3) - 2 - 1) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Zenon Gutierres(5 - 4(1) - 2) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  Avalos weighed in at 140 pounds, while Gutierres weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Brasil, and the three ringside judges are Diego Juan, Quiqui Cambron and Alejandro Labrada.  

Round 1: 

Avalos advances into close range and drives a right hook into Gutierres's body.  
Avalos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Avalos lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Avalos is on target with a firm left hook to Gutierres's body.  Avalos ties up his opponent.  Avalos tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gutierres's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Avalos is on target with a solid left hook.  Avalos holds on to his opponent.  Avalos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Avalos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Avalos hits home with a left hook.  
Gutierres pivots to the side of his opponent.  Avalos drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Avalos closes the distance and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS GUTIERRES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Gutierres almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Avalos finds the target with a jab.

Avalos steps inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Avalos forces Gutierres to retreat into the corner.  Avalos is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Avalos ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Avalos pushes his forearm into Gutierres's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Avalos about fouling.  
Avalos lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING GUTIERRES DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Avalos!
