John McCaw vs Xalvador Rubio

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Thompson-Boling Arena, Knoxville,  taking place on 23/09/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McCaw (32(25) - 2(2)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Xalvador Rubio(28(22) - 0) from Havana, Cuba.  Both McCaw and Rubio weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Barrett, and the three ringside judges are Ian Dean, Jonathan Mill and Leighton Taylor.  

Round 1: 

Rubio lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rubio manouvers McCaw onto the ropes.  Rubio lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
