Dai Marrs vs John Hughson

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Gym promoted show at Infinity Insurance Park, Miami,  taking place on 24/08/2045:

Clearly Numb Gym have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dai Marrs (4 - 0) who hails from Charlotte, USA and John Hughson(0 - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Marrs and Hughson weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Corse, and the three ringside judges are Sam Matteson, Kenzie Calley and Emanuel Merlo.  

Round 1: 

Marrs connects with a cross.  Marrs throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hughson switches the action to the outside.  Marrs is on target with a cross.  
Marrs lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Marrs gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Marrs walks Hughson onto the ropes.  Marrs drives a stinging right hook into Hughson's body.  
Marrs lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marrs is looking to close the distance.  Marrs quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hughson throws a left hook, but Marrs clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Marrs pushes his forearm into Hughson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marrs to stop fouling.  
Marrs pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  
Marrs lands a sharp jab.  
Marrs gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Hughson tries to keep the action at long range.  Marrs sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Marrs pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Hughson's ribs.  
Marrs gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Marrs advances into close range and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Marrs closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Marrs pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
