David Whittet vs Jay Costain

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at ABA Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 19/08/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Whittet (18(11) - 4(2)) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Jay Costain(33(10) - 13(3) - 3) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Whittet weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces, while Costain weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Dorch, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Scobie, Oliver Ngarongomate and Justin Patariki.
