Shamus Finnin vs Karl Laidlaw

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 02/09/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus Finnin (45(34) - 10(5)) who hails from Swords, Ireland and Karl Laidlaw(31(26) - 12(9) - 1) from Galway, Ireland.  Finnin weighed in at 200 pounds and 9 ounces, while Laidlaw weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Finnin came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Lewis MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Dan McCorquodale, Joshua MacCarthy and Fionn Healy.
