Iwao Kimoto vs Fo-hai Thieu

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo,  taking place on 02/09/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WOWOW, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iwao Kimoto (16(10) - 3(3)) who hails from Toyonaka, Japan and Fo-hai Thieu(37(20) - 16(8)) from Xian, China.  Both Kimoto and Thieu weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Mikami, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Taira, Eiji Mizuno and Takeo Kibe.
