Justin Kane vs Tymon Lagos

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 02/09/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Kane (29(8) - 8(4)) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Tymon Lagos(12 - 7(4) - 1) from Thessaloniki, Greece.  Both Kane and Lagos weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Joshua MacCarthy, Dan McCorquodale and Fionn Healy.  

Round 1: 

Kane feints a left, and then snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Lagos throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kane tries to keep the action at long range.  Kane feints a right hook, and then connects with a sharp overhand left.  
Kane lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kane lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Lagos walks Kane down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kane lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Kane lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kane lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kane lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Kane lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kane tries to land a jab, but Lagos blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kane steps away from his opponent.  Kane feints a right hook, and then strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Kane snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Kane lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kane hits home with an overhand right.  
Lagos lands a left hook.  
Kane pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Kane steps to the outside and hits home with a hard jab.  
Kane lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Kane lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Lagos throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lagos's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Kane lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Lagos throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lagos pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kane is on target with a jab.  
Kane tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Kane feints a cross, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Kane feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kane closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Kane ties up his opponent.  Lagos throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Kane is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kane pushes his forearm into Lagos's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Kane attempts to land a right hook, but Lagos sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kane lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane feints a left, and then is on target with a sharp cross.  
Kane lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kane switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kane lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Kane holds on to his opponent.  Lagos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kane digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Kane stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Lagos connects with a left hook.  
Kane sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Kane strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Kane attempts to land a cross, but Lagos slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kane lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kane pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Lagos's liver.  
Kane lands a firm cross.  
Kane feints a left, and then finds the target with a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lagos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Lagos's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Lagos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kane is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane feints a jab, tricking Lagos into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Kane is waiting for the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kane lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Kane is looking to keep his distance and lands with a hard jab.  
Kane lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Kane lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Kane pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Kane lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kane has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Kane lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kane tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Kane switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Lagos almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lagos walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lagos is on target with a cross.  
Kane hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Lagos now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Lagos pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lagos tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kane is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Lagos tries to land a jab, but Kane slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kane is on target with a solid jab.  
Lagos hits home with a left hook.  
Kane lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Lagos walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kane lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Kane senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Kane lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS LAGOS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Lagos is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Kane!
