Raan Van Rooyen vs Polo Mayat

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 29/08/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raan Van Rooyen (8 - 10 - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Polo Mayat(1 - 2 - 1) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Van Rooyen weighed in at 126 pounds, while Mayat weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tshepo Nqakula, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Du Toit, Fraser Mulder and David Khumalo.
