Neil Hayes vs Adam Henricks

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Elma Roane Fieldhouse, Memphis,  taking place on 26/09/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Hayes (16 - 6(1)) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Adam Henricks(35(16) - 15(9) - 1) from Mobile, USA.  Both Hayes and Henricks weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton Taylor, and the three ringside judges are Dan Stevenson, Kris Breck and Alen Williams.  

Round 1: 

Henricks feints a left, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  Henricks tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hayes throws a left hook, but Henricks clinches his opponent.  Hayes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Henricks behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Henricks feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hayes lands a left hook.  
Henricks lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hayes is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Henricks's ribcage.  Henricks holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hayes pushes his forearm into Henricks's face.  The referee warns Hayes and breaks the clinch.  
Henricks feints a right hook, and then lands with a spiteful jab.  
Henricks switches the action to the outside.  Henricks sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hayes closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Henricks holds on to his opponent.  Hayes uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Henricks behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Henricks tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Henricks lands a solid jab.  
Hayes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Henricks connects with a cross.  
Henricks forces Hayes to back into the ropes.  Henricks pivots to the side of his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Hayes advances into close range.  Henricks hits home with a left hook.  
Henricks lands with a ramrod jab.  
Hayes is looking to close the distance.  Henricks lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Henricks dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hayes advances into close range.  Henricks throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hayes drives a right hook into Henricks's body.  
Henricks lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Henricks feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hayes's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hayes's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Hayes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Henricks pivots to the right of his opponent.  Henricks throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Henricks holds on to his opponent.  Hayes uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Henricks's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hayes tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Henricks drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Hayes is on target with a left hook.  
Henricks hits home with a cross.  
Henricks lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Henricks quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Henricks attempts to land a jab, but Hayes slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Henricks lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Henricks lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hayes steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Hayes is looking to close the distance.  Henricks pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hayes tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME right hook.  HAYES IS HURT!  
Henricks knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Henricks lands a left uppercut, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HAYES IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Hayes now seems to have his senses back.  
Henricks manouvers Hayes onto the ropes.  Henricks is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Hayes gets on the inside.  Henricks throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Henricks ties up his opponent.  Henricks is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Henricks sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hayes drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Henricks EXPLODES a spiteful right hook into his opponents face.  HAYES IS HURT!  
Hayes manages to force Henricks onto the ropes.  Henricks senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Henricks lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND HAYES IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Hayes now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Hayes is looking to close the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Henricks's body.  
Henricks lands a jab.  
Henricks tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a sharp jab.  Henricks attempts to land a jab, but Hayes dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Hayes tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left hook.  HAYES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT HAYES CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Henricks!
