Ahmed Guedj vs Waleed Sayoud

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Oran promoted show at Oran Rabhi, Oran,  taking place on 16/09/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Oran Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ahmed Guedj (12 - 7 - 1) who hails from Oran, Algeria and Waleed Sayoud(17 - 12(2) - 5) from Oran, Algeria.  Both Guedj and Sayoud weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Aissou, and the three ringside judges are Atif Hacini, Waqar Ahmed and Zuffur Louahla.  

Round 1: 

Guedj attempts to land an overhand right, but Sayoud blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Sayoud advances into close range.  Sayoud leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Guedj is whaling away with hooks, but Sayoud keeps his defence tight.
