Ricky Brain vs Mark Cauldwell

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Royal ICC, Brisbane,  taking place on 09/09/2045:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ricky Brain (1 - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Mark Cauldwell(1 - 1(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Brain weighed in at 210 pounds and 8 ounces, while Cauldwell weighed in at 246 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Robert Reekie and Ian Corrie.  

Round 1:

Cauldwell gets on the inside.  Cauldwell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cauldwell throws a left hook, but Brain clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brain pushes his forearm into Cauldwell's face.  The referee warns Brain and breaks the clinch.  
Cauldwell feints a cross, but Brain is not fooled and responds with a cross.  
Cauldwell advances into close range.  Brain lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Brain holds on to his opponent.  Brain uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cauldwell behind the head. Brain pushes Cauldwelloff to escape the clinch.
