Yoshi Ikeda vs Nao Suzuki

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Japan National Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/10/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WOWOW, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Slick Yoshi Ikeda (43(29) - 13(12) - 1) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Nao Suzuki(39(29) - 11(10)) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Ikeda and Suzuki weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Kubo, and the three ringside judges are Aki Fujii, Naoki Morita and Yasushi Kawamoto.
