Leo Hearn vs Mel Cruickshank

Boxing Daily Report from the Cazmo Munn promoted show at Chris Battaglia Gym, Newark,  taking place on 06/10/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leo Hearn (4 - 6 - 6) who hails from Jersey City, USA and Mel Cruickshank(5 - 6(1)) from Newark, USA.  Hearn weighed in at 175 pounds, while Cruickshank weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Cruickshank came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Valentino Brunelli, Ian Leaper and Jamie Loudon.
