Mahdi Shikabenga vs Shaquille Namalambo

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Chitty, Lusaka,  taking place on 08/10/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mahdi Shikabenga (13(3) - 10(1)) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Shaquille Namalambo(3 - 3 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Shikabenga and Namalambo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luister Sibanda, and the three ringside judges are Peter Shona, Mashawn Nkandu and Naeem Luo.  

Round 1: 

Shikabenga closes the distance.  Namalambo throws a left uppercut, but Shikabenga ties up his opponent.  Shikabenga leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Shikabenga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
