Steven Knox vs Gus Maine

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Gym promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 23/10/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steven Knox (16(10) - 0) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Gus Maine(13 - 0 - 2) from Indianapolis, USA.  Knox weighed in at 108 pounds, while Maine weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dylan Nield, and the three ringside judges are Nick Erskin, Mike Sander and Robert Wyllie.  

Round 1:

Maine pivots to the right of his opponent.  Knox is on target with a left hook.  Knox attempts to land a jab, but Maine slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Knox lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Maine gets on the inside.  Knox lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.
