Jack McCleese vs Rob Dyer

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at House of Blues, Boston,  taking place on 14/10/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jack McCleese (0 - 0) who hails from Worcester, USA and Rob Dyer(1 - 0) from Chesapeake, USA.  Both McCleese and Dyer weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Ian Noble, Richie MacIsaac and Fred Reese.  

Round 1: 

McCleese lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Dyer throws a right hook, but McCleese ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McCleese pushes his forearm into Dyer's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dyer steps inside.  McCleese lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  McCleese ties up his opponent.  McCleese pushes his forearm into Dyer's face.  The referee warns McCleese and breaks the clinch.  
McCleese is on target with a sharp cross.  
McCleese gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  McCleese holds on to his opponent.  McCleese leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McCleese lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  McCleese clinches his opponent.  McCleese leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McCleese lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dyer is on target with a left uppercut.  
Dyer throws a right uppercut, but McCleese ties up his opponent.  McCleese uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dyer behind the head. The ref breaks McCleese's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

McCleese closes the distance.  McCleese lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As McCleese tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dyer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dyer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Dyer's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

McCleese leans on his opponent using all his weight. McCleese pushes his forearm into Dyer's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCleese about fouling.  
McCleese closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCleese pivots to the right of his opponent.  McCleese lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  McCleese clinches his opponent.  McCleese is leaning on his opponent in the clinch.
