Michi Yoneda vs Nori Koike

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 04/11/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Michi Yoneda (0 - 0) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Nori Koike(6 - 5(1) - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Yoneda and Koike weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shinji Sama, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Sakamoto, Jiro Kawakami and Kazuhiko Yamamura.  

Round 1:

The ref breaks Yoneda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Koike recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yoneda steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Yoneda is on target with a sharp left hook to Koike's body.  
Yoneda cuts off the ring, trapping Koike in the corner.  Yoneda digs in a firm left uppercut to Koike's body.  
Yoneda closes the distance and whips in a hurtful left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOIKE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Koike recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Koike's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Koike's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Koike's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Yoneda throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Yoneda to stop fouling.  
Yoneda sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, DROPPING KOIKE TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Yoneda manouvers Koike onto the ropes.  Yoneda lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Yoneda lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Yoneda closes the distance.  Yoneda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and crashes a hurtful left hook to Koike's liver.  It looks like Koike has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Yoneda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yoneda connects with a solid left hook.  Yoneda holds on to his opponent.  Yoneda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yoneda lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Yoneda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yoneda throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Yoneda clinches his opponent.  Yoneda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yoneda to stop holding.  
Yoneda lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Yoneda pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a WICKED left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOIKE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Koike quickly recovers.

Yoneda manages to force Koike into a neutral corner.  Yoneda drives a potent right hook into his opponents body.  KOIKE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Yoneda!
