David Culton vs Mel Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Puano, Waitakere,  taking place on 31/10/2045:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Culton (16 - 0) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Mel Jones(6 - 1 - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Culton weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces, while Jones weighed in at 199 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Erwin, and the three ringside judges are Robert Haturini, Ellis Raharuhi and Ollie Scobie.
