Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at O2 Academy, Glasgow,  taking place on 28/10/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Edward McWethy (5(3) - 0) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Douglas Wallace(4 - 4 - 1) from London, UK.  McWethy weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Wallace weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Arif, and the three ringside judges are Dennis McClung, Joseph Menelaws and Marcus McConachie.  

Round 1: 

Wallace is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but McWethy holds on to his opponent.  McWethy pushes his forearm into Wallace's face.  The referee warns McWethy and breaks the clinch.  
McWethy is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  McWethy clinches his opponent.  McWethy throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McWethy lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
McWethy hits home with a left hook.  McWethy ties up his opponent.  McWethy uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wallace behind the head. The ref breaks McWethy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

McWethy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McWethy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Wallace quickly recovers.

Wallace manages to force McWethy onto the ropes.  McWethy digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wallace advances into close range.  McWethy lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
McWethy senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  McWethy lands a BRUTAL right uppercut.  WALLACE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Wallace now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wallace's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Wallace's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Wallace's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Wallace throws a left hook, but McWethy holds on to his opponent.  McWethy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McWethy lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
McWethy lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
McWethy throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Wallace gets on the inside.  McWethy hits home with a solid left hook.  
McWethy drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  McWethy holds on to his opponent.  McWethy uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wallace behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McWethy about fouling.  
McWethy is on target with a left hook to Wallace's liver.  McWethy holds on to his opponent.  McWethy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McWethy digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
McWethy lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.
