Vere Obier vs Dom Speirs

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Maison du Citoyen, Gaineau,  taking place on 30/12/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vere Obier (11(3) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Dom Speirs(6 - 8 - 5) from Vaughan, Canada.  Obier weighed in at 168 pounds, while Speirs weighed in at 167 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Carvell Brame and Verrier Luna.  

Round 1: 

Speirs pivots to the side of his opponent.  Obier lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Obier is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.

Obier advances into close range.  Obier hits home with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Obier has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Obier is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Speirs's ribs.  Obier holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Obier pushes his forearm into Speirs's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Obier.
