Bart Quirke vs Bruce McNiven

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Plymouth Pavilions, Plymouth,  taking place on 09/12/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart Quirke (8(5) - 0) who hails from Plymouth, UK and Bruce McNiven(9 - 15(2) - 7) from London, UK.  Quirke weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while McNiven weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eddie Cour, and the three ringside judges are Hayden Maguire, Nick Fidler and Seth Cassidy.  

Round 1: 

Quirke lands two jabs followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Quirke connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
McNiven closes the distance.  Quirke is on target with a solid left hook to McNiven's liver.  
Quirke hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Quirke switches the action to the outside and lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Quirke steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Quirke advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping McNiven in the blue corner.  Quirke lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

You can sense the frustration from McNiven now.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref stops the action and tells McNiven to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Quirke time to recover.  
Quirke switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Quirke connects with a WICKED right uppercut.  MCNIVEN IS HURT!  McNiven quickly recovers. 
McNiven pivots to the left of his opponent.  McNiven throws a left hook, but Quirke holds on to his opponent.  Quirke leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Quirke to stop holding.  
Quirke lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Quirke closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
It looks like McNiven has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

McNiven steps inside.  Quirke drives a left hook into his opponents body.

McNiven quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McNiven tries to land a right hook, but Quirke slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McNiven sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McNiven attempts to land a right hook, but Quirke blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Quirke lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Quirke hits home with a left hook.  
Quirke lands a sharp left hook.  
Quirke is on target with a left uppercut.  
Quirke steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McNiven throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Quirke advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES MCNIVEN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  He doesnt look in good shape though! McNiven is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Quirke!
