Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Gym promoted show at Palms Casino, Las Vegas,  taking place on 26/12/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John McNiff (6(1) - 0) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Harry Doughtie(0 - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both McNiff and Doughtie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Cloyd, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Pulido, Ellis Slight and Jonathan Galt.

Doughtie closes the distance and forces McNiff to retreat onto the ropes.  Doughtie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McNiff digs in a right hook to Doughtie's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McNiff dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Doughtie walks McNiff down, trapping him in the red corner.  Doughtie attempts to land a cross, but McNiff blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Doughtie's body.  
You can sense Doughtie is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref takes no action over the foul, despite complaints from McNiff.  
McNiff lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McNiff hits home with a stiff jab.  
McNiff is looking to keep his distance.  McNiff feints a left, and then finds the target with a jab.
