Matthew Garmon vs Ron MacNeill

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Omaha Mahoney, Omaha,  taking place on 04/12/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Garmon (13 - 21(2) - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Lincoln, USA and Ron MacNeill(20(14) - 4(2)) from Lincoln, USA.  Both Garmon and MacNeill weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Spence, and the three ringside judges are Robert Coupland, William Huggett and Edwyn Kendrick.  

Round 1: 

MacNeill advances into close range and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Garmon wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  MacNeill has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
MacNeill lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  MacNeill holds on to his opponent.  MacNeill pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The ref breaks MacNeill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Garmon goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives MacNeill time to recover.  
MacNeill advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill pivots to the left of his opponent.  MacNeill lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, MacNeill pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The referee warns MacNeill and breaks the clinch.  
MacNeill digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill lands a cross.  MacNeill attempts to land a right uppercut, but Garmon parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
MacNeill walks Garmon into the corner.  MacNeill digs in a right uppercut to Garmon's body.  MacNeill throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacNeill throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  MacNeill leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
MacNeill lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
MacNeill lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeill closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Garmon throws a right hook, but MacNeill holds on to his opponent.  MacNeill leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
MacNeill manages to force Garmon into the corner.  MacNeill lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
MacNeill lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  MacNeill holds on to his opponent.  MacNeill pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The referee warns MacNeill and breaks the clinch.

Garmon steps away from his opponent.  Garmon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
MacNeill is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
MacNeill gets on the inside and walks Garmon into the corner.  MacNeill digs in a firm right hook to Garmon's ribs.  
Garmon tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Garmon throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacNeill gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
MacNeill lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Garmon quickly recovers.

MacNeill cuts off the ring, trapping Garmon in the corner.  MacNeill crashes a nasty left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE GARMON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Garmon quickly recovers.

MacNeill walks Garmon down, trapping him in a corner.  MacNeill is on target with a telling left hook to his opponents liver.  GARMON IS HURT!  MacNeill clinches his opponent.  MacNeill uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Garmon's kidney. The referee warns MacNeill and breaks the clinch.  MacNeill tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  Garmon quickly recovers.
