John Erwin vs Dai Yarwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at McKellar Park, Canberra,  taking place on 16/12/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Erwin (41(6) - 16(3) - 4) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Dai Yarwood(3 - 3 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Erwin weighed in at 104 pounds and 14 ounces, while Yarwood weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny McCornack, and the three ringside judges are Noah Pierce, Bob Ivory and John Hakopyan.  

Round 1: 

Erwin gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Erwin digs in a firm left hook to Yarwood's body.  
Erwin advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Erwin advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Erwin hits home with a right uppercut.  Erwin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Erwin pushes his forearm into Yarwood's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Erwin to stop fouling.  
Yarwood steps away from his opponent.  Erwin lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Erwin lands a left hook.  Erwin holds on to his opponent.  Erwin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Erwin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Erwin advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Yarwood in a neutral corner.  Erwin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Erwin walks Yarwood down, trapping him in a corner.  Erwin lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
