Hamas Alsakkak vs Abdul Marnay

Boxing Daily Report from the Dumsor Promotions promoted show at Stade Sidi Bernoussi, Casablanca,  taking place on 20/01/2046:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Northern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hamas Alsakkak (16(14) - 2(2)) who hails from Marrakech, Morocco and Abdul Marnay(15(13) - 1(1)) from Oran, Algeria.  Alsakkak weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces, while Marnay weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dhakwan Alamrawi, and the three ringside judges are Saad Ayub, Sufyan Tahar and Hayyan Atika.  

Round 1: 

Alsakkak lands a spiteful jab.  
Alsakkak is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Marnay pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Alsakkak advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Alsakkak attempts to land a right hook, but Marnay blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Alsakkak drives a sharp left hook into Marnay's body.  
Alsakkak gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into Marnay's body.  
Marnay hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Marnay throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Marnay connects with a stinging right hook.  
Alsakkak steps inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alsakkak hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Alsakkak steps inside.  As Alsakkak tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Marnay.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Alsakkak crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARNAY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Alsakkak pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  Marnay now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Alsakkak lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marnay lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Alsakkak steps inside and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Marnay blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Alsakkak lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MARNAY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Marnay recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Alsakkak lands with a ramrod jab.  
Alsakkak gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MARNAY!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Alsakkak attempts to land a jab, but Marnay sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Marnay pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Alsakkak lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Alsakkak lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Alsakkak steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alsakkak dabs at his face checking for damage.  Alsakkak has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Alsakkak throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Alsakkak steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Alsakkak gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Alsakkak tries to land a left hook, but Marnay blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Alsakkak is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right hook to Marnay's ribcage.  
Alsakkak lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Alsakkak forces Marnay to back into the ropes.  Alsakkak lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Alsakkak senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Alsakkak lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MARNAY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Marnay now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Alsakkak lands a cross.  
Alsakkak closes the distance and SLAMS a nasty left hook into his opponents face.  MARNAY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MARNAY CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Alsakkak!
