Owen Jones vs Rhys Couch

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Capital FM Arena, Nottingham,  taking place on 17/01/2046:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Owen Jones (6(5) - 0) who hails from Manchester, UK and Rhys Couch(5 - 13(2) - 1) from Swansea, UK.  Both Jones and Couch weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Finn, and the three ringside judges are Ian Lowery, Tobias Moffit and Rhys Ashley.  

Round 1: 

Jones steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Jones lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Couch almost instantly recovers. 
Jones lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Jones tries to land a cross, but Couch sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jones lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Jones clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Couch's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jones.  
Jones is on target with a sharp right hook.  Jones clinches his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jones hits home with a left hook.  Jones ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Couch's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jones.

Jones advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Couch is looking to close the distance.  Jones lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Jones clinches his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Jones lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Couch dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Jones is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Jones holds on to his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jones finds the target with a jab.  
Jones is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into Couch's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Couch's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Couch's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Couch steps inside.  Jones is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Couch throws a left hook, but Jones ties up his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Jones to stop holding.  
Couch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jones digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Jones tries to land a jab, but Couch blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Jones is looking to force the stoppage!  Jones lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING COUCH DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Couch has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Couch attempts to land a left hook, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Jones manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Jones lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.

Jones DETONATES a spiteful left hook on his opponents face.  COUCH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Couch recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jones lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Jones stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Jones lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS COUCH SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Couch is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Jones!
