Cole Kincaide vs Robert Cleland

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at Phoenix Club, Anaheim,  taking place on 09/02/2046:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cole Kincaide (32(12) - 12(8) - 1) who hails from Oceanside, USA and Robert Cleland(11 - 11(1) - 2) from San Diego, USA.  Both Kincaide and Cleland weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Guthrie, and the three ringside judges are John Dickie, Sam Salvas and Amer Othman.  

Round 1: 

Kincaide is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Cleland connects with a cross.  Cleland attempts to land a left hook, but Kincaide sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kincaide tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Kincaide lands a left uppercut.  
Kincaide is looking to keep his distance.  Kincaide quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Kincaide hits home with a cross.  
Kincaide lands with a spiteful jab.  
Cleland walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cleland is on target with a left hook.  
Kincaide is on target with a left uppercut to Cleland's body.  
Kincaide steps to the outside.  Kincaide sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kincaide feints a right hook, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Kincaide contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Cleland lands a cross.  
Cleland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kincaide lands a cross.  
Kincaide lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Kincaide steps to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Kincaide sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Kincaide feints a jab, fooling Cleland into launching a right hook counter.  Kincaide avoids the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Cleland lands a cross.  
Kincaide is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Kincaide steps away from his opponent.  Kincaide sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kincaide lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kincaide is on target with a firm cross.  
Kincaide lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cleland's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cleland's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cleland's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cleland attempts to land a left hook, but Kincaide slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kincaide steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kincaide lands a solid jab.  
Kincaide lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kincaide switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Kincaide steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kincaide feints a cross, tricking Cleland into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Kincaide springs the trap and counters with  a left hook to Cleland's ribs.  
Kincaide lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kincaide steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cleland recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cleland gets on the inside.  Kincaide lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cleland forces Kincaide to back into the ropes.  Kincaide lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kincaide connects with a mean right hook.  CLELAND WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cleland almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kincaide tries to keep the action at long range and lands a ramrod jab.  
Cleland steps inside.  Kincaide quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cleland throws a left hook, but Kincaide ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kincaide pushes his forearm into Cleland's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kincaide about fouling.  
Kincaide is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kincaide feints a right hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Kincaide lands a ramrod jab.  
Kincaide drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Cleland forces Kincaide to retreat onto the ropes.  Kincaide lands a left hook.
