Bryn Edmundson vs Ian McNiven

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/03/2046:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premier Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Bryn Edmundson (8(2) - 0) who hails from Belfast, UK and Ian McNiven(4 - 11(2)) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Edmundson and McNiven weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, William Owen and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

McNiven closes the distance.  Edmundson sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Edmundson throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Edmundson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Edmundson pushes his forearm into McNiven's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Edmundson pushes his forearm into McNiven's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Edmundson to stop fouling.
