Danny Nuwagaba vs Richie Ssembajjwe

Boxing Daily Report from the African Warrior Collective promoted show at Gulu Umony, Gulu,  taking place on 21/04/2046:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Danny Nuwagaba (5(2) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Richie Ssembajjwe(3 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Nuwagaba and Ssembajjwe weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Aman, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kalemazikusoka, Yasin Dia and Quarren Adubango.  

Round 1: 

Nuwagaba steps inside.  Nuwagaba is on target with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ssembajjwe dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ssembajjwe has taken some damage there.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Nuwagaba pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Ssembajjwe's ribs.  
Nuwagaba lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nuwagaba pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nuwagaba connects with a left hook.  Nuwagaba holds on to his opponent.  Nuwagaba uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ssembajjwe's kidney. Nuwagaba is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nuwagaba to stop fouling.  
Nuwagaba closes the distance.  Ssembajjwe throws a left hook, but Nuwagaba ties up his opponent.  Nuwagaba throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Nuwagaba pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nuwagaba hits home with a left hook.  Nuwagaba attempts to land a left hook, but Ssembajjwe slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Nuwagaba voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ssembajjwe steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Ssembajjwe is on target with a cross to Nuwagaba's body.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Ssembajjwe now.    He pushes his head into his opponents face!  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Nuwagaba to the neutral corner.    He tells Ssembajjwe to stop fouling or face a points deduction.
