Sam Fowlie vs Gareth Oliver

Boxing Daily Report from the JeyBenitez promoted show at Austin Toste, Austin,  taking place on 08/04/2046:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Fowlie (14 - 19 - 5) who hails from Dallas, USA and Gareth Oliver(14 - 13(5) - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both Fowlie and Oliver weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Mings, and the three ringside judges are Leon Tarbert, Robert Corfield and Adnan Ghattas.  

Round 1: 

Fowlie hits home with a cross.  
Fowlie pivots to the left of his opponent.  Oliver tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fowlie closes the distance.  Fowlie pivots to the left of his opponent.  Oliver connects with a left hook.  Oliver throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Oliver throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fowlie lands a right hook.  
Oliver feints a jab, but Fowlie does not fall for it and lands with a cross.  
Oliver advances into close range.  Oliver sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Oliver throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Oliver's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
