John Ruthven vs Dave Hollern

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Kingston Carneal, Kingston,  taking place on 24/04/2046:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ruthven (10(5) - 7(2)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Dave Hollern(3 - 11 - 2) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Ruthven and Hollern weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Dewine, Harvey Dennie and Jacob Pye.  

Round 1: 

Ruthven lands a cross.

Hollern advances into close range and forces Ruthven to back into the ropes.  Ruthven lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

You can sense Hollern is getting frustrated in there.   He turns Ruthven and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref stops the action and tells Hollern to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Ruthven time to recover.

At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Hollern's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
