Yuan Poon vs Dewei Leng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Zhejiang promoted show at Hangzhou Yang, Hangzhou,  taking place on 14/02/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the China Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yuan Poon (11(3) - 0) who hails from Xian, China and Dewei Leng(2 - 5(1) - 3) from Kunming, China.  Both Poon and Leng weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yu Do, and the three ringside judges are Bing Qu, Jun Chern and Manchu Keng.  

Round 1: 

Poon tries to land a jab, but Leng blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Leng contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Poon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Poon feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leng is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Poon holds on to his opponent.  Poon pushes his forearm into Leng's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Poon about fouling.  
Leng quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Poon lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leng's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Poon tries to keep the action at long range.  Poon feints a jab, and then connects with a FIERCE overhand right.  LENG IS HURT!  Leng almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Poon feints a jab, tricking Leng into countering with a cross.  Poon springs the trap, countering with  a SAVAGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LENG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Leng recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
