Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Ebrahimian Gym, Durban,  taking place on 31/01/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montraie Mpeta (7 - 1) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Kian Bapela(7 - 1) from Durban, South Africa.  Mpeta weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Bapela weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Van Onselen, and the three ringside judges are James Kingdiadia, Verlyn Selasee and Kasi Mogoeng.
