Angel Arguijo vs Cris Estay

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghigian Promotions promoted show at Medellin Moye, Medellin,  taking place on 15/02/2022:

Clearly Eghigian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Arguijo (9 - 0) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Cris Estay(5 - 0) from Medellin, Colombia.  Arguijo weighed in at 225 pounds and 1 ounces, while Estay weighed in at 239 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xavion Amezquita, and the three ringside judges are Diego Macias, Lorenzo Sarinana and Oihane Colon.  

Round 1: 

Arguijo is on target with a jab.

Estay sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Arguijo is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Arguijo walks Estay down, trapping him in a corner.  Estay throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Arguijo is looking to close the distance.  Estay is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Arguijo steps inside.  Arguijo connects with a solid left hook.  As Arguijo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
