Mark Wambui vs Jonathan Rao

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Syed Zia Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 21/02/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Wambui (6 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jonathan Rao(6 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Wambui weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Rao weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bob Mbiyu, and the three ringside judges are Noah Odoyo, Rehan Abed and Rex Odhieng.  

Round 1: 

Wambui connects with a left uppercut.
