Dave Boyle vs Thomas McCaig

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at John Cary Gym, Drogheda,  taking place on 23/02/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dave Boyle (7 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Thomas McCaig(6 - 0 - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  Both Boyle and McCaig weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brandon Whalen, and the three ringside judges are Mike Green, Fionn Donnell and Mel Mohan.
