Kanja Balan vs Danyaal Ally

Boxing Daily Report from the Chiona Promotions promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Sadiq, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 23/02/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kanja Balan (6 - 2 - 1) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Danyaal Ally(4 - 5 - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Balan and Ally weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Asmar, and the three ringside judges are Amjad Ebrahimi, Amjad Hamdan and Danyaal Kharoti.  

Round 1: 

Balan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ally connects with a cross.  
Balan advances into close range.  Balan pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Balan steps to the outside.  Ally lands a cross.  
Balan steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.

Ally closes the distance.  Ally sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Balan is on target with a left hook.  
Balan steps inside.  Ally hits home with a right hook.  Ally attempts to land a left hook, but Balan sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Balan is on target with a right hook.  
Balan closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Balan steps away from his opponent.  Ally lands a cross.  
Balan closes the distance.  Ally throws a right hook, but Balan clinches his opponent.  Balan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
