Paul Naikuni vs Tariq Farooqui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Samara, Kikuyu,  taking place on 03/03/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Naikuni (7 - 0) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Tariq Farooqui(6 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Naikuni weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Farooqui weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Beauttah, and the three ringside judges are Yobachi Kimanthi, Ian Nanji and James Napunyi.
