Palig Hakobyan vs Adur Yanikian

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Armenia-Yerevan promoted show at Yerevan Tarakjyan, Yerevan,  taking place on 14/03/2022:

Clearly AI Armenia-Yerevan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Armenia-Yerevan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Palig Hakobyan (5 - 4 - 1) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Adur Yanikian(6 - 4) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Both Hakobyan and Yanikian weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Simon Galstanian, and the three ringside judges are Yeghishe Rashidian, Ghugas Tamizyan and Alexan Fillippyan.  

Round 1: 

Hakobyan advances into close range.  Yanikian lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hakobyan has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
