Jose Verdugo vs Olindo Mellado

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Jax Lusco Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 18/03/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Verdugo (4 - 2 - 1) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Olindo Mellado(5 - 1 - 2) from Chimalhuacan, Mexico.  Verdugo weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mellado weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Ocon, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Mancilla, Berto Calles and Berto Calles.
