Haider Abdou vs Leighton Cruz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at El Paso Allender, El Paso,  taking place on 18/03/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haider Abdou (6 - 2 - 2) who hails from Houston, USA and Leighton Cruz(4 - 2 - 5) from Dallas, USA.  Abdou weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cruz weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Kinna, and the three ringside judges are Bryan Priddy, Faisal Rasul and Danny Henderson.
