Mardian Boussac vs Jeffrey Osmond

Boxing Daily Report from the Razak Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Garros, Abidjan,  taking place on 21/04/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mardian Boussac (6 - 1 - 2) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Jeffrey Osmond(8 - 2 - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Boussac and Osmond weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boden Marques, and the three ringside judges are Travis Bay, Jean Batiste and Noel Courau.  

Round 1: 

Boussac feints a left hook, and then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Boussac manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Boussac drives a right uppercut into Osmond's body.  Osmond wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Boussac dabs at his face checking for damage.

Boussac advances into close range and digs in a solid right hook to Osmond's ribs.

Boussac closes the distance.  Osmond hits home with a left hook.  Osmond throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
